Country Music Star Dropped by Publicist, Wife Harassed by Fellow Country Artists for Speaking Out Against Gender Transformations for Kids

Over the last several years, country music superstar Jason Aldean has received pushback from his peers and some in the public for his support for conservative principles and candidates and elected officials that hold them.

Brittany Aldean, a fashion entrepreneur, fellow artist, and his wife, recently launched a clothing line with her sister-in-law Kasi Rosa, featuring merchandise promoting limited government principles like “Don’t Tread On Our Kids” shirts and “Unapologetically Conservative” cups.

Both Aldeans are known for their outgoing personalities and ardent support of their personal views — views widely shared by millions of Americans.

Recently, Brittany posted a video to her Instagram account and commented in the caption that she was thankful her parents didn’t assume she wanted to switch genders when she went through a tomboy phase as a young girl — a phase most girls go through at some point during their development.

Despite being an innocent statement, the backlash against Brittany on social media was swift and hostile, most especially from a few fellow country music artists with large platforms and opposing views.

Cassadee Pope Tweeted “You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positive in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead, here we are, hearing someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

Maren Morris responded to Pope’s tweet, adding, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and sip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Morris then doubled-down on her response with an expletive laden Twitter post: “I’m glad she didn’t become a boy either because we really don’t need another a****** dude in the world. Sucks when Karens try to hide their homophobia/transphobia behind their ‘protectiveness of the children.’ Weren’t they putting their kids in ‘Biden-is-a-pedo’ shirts on social media?”

She then added this threatening missive: “F*** all the way off to Insurrection Barbie and the fellow IB’s trolling this comment section with their hypocritical, hateful a****.”

In the face of the intense scrutiny, Brittany did not back down on her beliefs. She posted an explanation for them and why, as a mother, she is concerned with adults making decisions that will impact the future of their children’s lives.

She also appeared on Tucker Carlson, explaining that there are age limits for all major life milestones including driving, serving in the military, and voting – but not for surgeries that permanently change gender.

Following the back and forth, and after a seventeen year business partnership, Jason Alden’s PR firm dropped him as a client, stating that it was “no longer a fit.”

Morris and Pope, who have large platforms and influence, claimed that their outrage was based on seeking inclusion and tolerance – yet their responses were the exact opposite. They instead activated a woke mob to attack the Aldean’s for their beliefs, attempt to boycott them, and cancel them.

Brittany’s new clothing line was launched following the incident and a portion of the proceeds will go to Operation Light Shine, a nonprofit that fights human trafficking and child exploitation.
